For the past month or so I have been using the super elixir supplement and I thought that it was about time that I did a review on it. What is the super elixir exactly you might ask!, well it is a health and wellbeing supplement of alkalising greens containing about 45 natural ingredients designed to absorbed by the body at a cellular level. These ingredients are scientifically calculated and include super greens, mushrooms, digestive enzymes and Chinese herbs to name but a few. It is said that the super elixir amongst other things is good for skin nails and hair as well as being beneficial to the digestive and central nervous systems. The super elixir was developed by Elle Macpherson and her nutritional doctor Simone Laubscher and was the inspiration behind Elle's Welleco company which sells a range of health supplements.
The super elixir can be taken by adding some to water and drinking it straight like that or by adding it like I do to a smoothie which makes it taste a little bit better than it would taken by itself which may be an acquired taste for some as it has quite an earthy taste. It is completely plant based and vegan and comes in a seriously stylish refillable black glass caddy which looks good I have to say on the kitchen counter, another little incentive to get you returning to take it as it looks so pretty. In my month of taking the super elixir daily, I have noticed a marked improvement in my energy levels overall and also my skin seems to have reaped the benefits too as a couple of skin imperfections I had have now cleared up.
All in all, although the super elixir may be a little bit pricey compared to other plant proteins and super greens, I definitely think that it is worth every penny health wise as you do notice a difference after taking it for a month. The super elixir alkalising greens and other products can be purchased via the Welleco website.
