Recently I have returned to using fresh ginger root in my morning detox tea routine which currently consists of warm lemon water. I have decided to add ginger to my morning detox tea thereby creating a lemon and ginger tea which I drink first thing in the morning to get my metabolism moving as well as keeping my digestive system healthy. I decided to look into the health benefits of fresh ginger root which has been used for centuries for ailments and is now being recognised in scientific circles.
