During these colder months I mainly focus on seasonal warming foods and less on cold drinks and smoothies and smoothie bowls and all the lovely refreshing concoctions associated with warmer weather. having said that I still do like to have the odd smoothies every now and again especially when I am able to get my daily dose of super nutritious protein by doing so. This smoothie is so simple and easy to make and full of beneficial nutrients, although I used the Super Elixir chocolate protein powder, any good premium organic and plant based chocolate protein powder can be used.
2 Small bananas
1 Cup of Almond milk
1 Scoop of chocolate protein powder
Wash and chop the apple
Peel and chop the bananas and add to the blender
Add 1 cup of almond milk and a scoop of protein powder
Blend all the ingredients until smooth
transfer smoothie to a glass or container of choice and enjoy!
