It's November already! unbelievable in some ways that this year has flown by. with the constant drop in temperature and the changing seasons I usually gravitate to warmer dishes to warm u the body, however on occasion I will still indulge in the odd smoothie or smoothie bowl. I managed to put together a smoothie bowl recently with seasonal berries and I was quite impressed with the result.
1 large apple
A handful of mixed seasonal berries
1 Tbsp plant protein powder
1 cup almond milk (or any non dairy milk)
Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth
put the resulting smoothie in a bowl
Add toppings of choice (I added hemp seeds, unsweetened shredded coconut, chia seeds, banana and raspberries)
Grab a spoon and dig into this lovely seasonal smoothie twist.
